Safely Sign In to Hotmail Account in Public

Safely sign in of Email account is mandatory. While login to our Email account there is always risk of hacking, especially if we are using to check our account in a different PC other than our personal computer. Many hacking software’s are there now a days to record your password when you use that PC to check your email account, where the software is installed. So it is to be strongly noted that checking your email account in a public computer is always risky.

To safely sign in your Hotmail account, Microsoft has developed a new feature to sign in through one time password to overcome this issue. It helps in securing the safely sign in or login details regarding mail of the user. It mainly protects from key loggers.

Steps to Use Hotmail Safely Sign In

Step 1 : Go to the Hotmail Login Page
Step 2 : In the main Login page window Click “Sign in with a single-use code” as described in below image.

Step 3 : The next screen will ask you to enter your Hotmail account and the phone number which is already registered with Hotmail Account. Below image describes for easy reference

Step 4 : By doing this successfully, you will get an one time password on your mobile phone which you can use the code as your one time password in your Hotmail account.

Note that, Hotmail provided safely sign in option or code can be used only once and can be requested whenever needed, and if you are not using the mobile number which already been registered with Hotmail, in this case first you need to change your contact number using your account profile, before using this option
