It is a little hard to find an old email since there are a huge number of emails in your Gmail. Fortunately, most of these archived emails are never to be

seen or searched again. But others we need to get back to later. But you want old mail in urgent basis. You don’t have any option to find the mail. But in Gmail has the built in search engine to find out the old mail. You have to choose a range that is 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 6 months or 1 year from a certain date. You might not have any idea to search messages within a certain date range in Gmail.

1. Login to Gmail by putting your username and password
2. Go to Search Mail text box as located on the top of the page
3. You can filter message by sender, recipient, subject, before and after of a specific date range
4. Click Search Mail button to start searching messages based on the searching criteria as you mentioned

You can use from, to, subject, after or before date formatted like YYYY/MM/DD
