Microsoft Windows 8 has introduced many new features. One of the interesting feature was the Picture Password for the Windows 8 login screen. This method

allows a particular user to login into his Windows 8 account with the help of pictures. A Picture Password enables you to use a picture from your library as a password. You have to perform three gestures like circles, straight lines and taps on the picture that you want to use as your password

1. Go to Control Panel and click on Users
2. Then click on Create a picture password
3. Now you will be asked to enter your Login password before setting up your picture password
4. After enter the password browse to the picture that you want to use as your password and click on it
5. You will be asked to create a pattern on the screen at a time
6. The patterns could be a combination of taps, lines and circles
7. You will need to repeat the pattern for confirmation
8. Once the pattern is confirmed, the picture password is saved

Note that the position of the pattern with respect to the picture and the order in which you make them is very much important
