Facebook has implemented a new security feature called Account Protection which informs users of how secure their account is. When you login into your
Facebook account, you may be prompted by Facebook to upgrade your security information. To keep your Facebook account safe you must strong your Facebook security
- Login to your Account Page of Facebook
- Next go to the security information page
- Then upgrade your primary Email address. This protects your account if you lose access to your primary email address
- Next register your Mobile phone number
- Finally choose a security question that only you can answer
- This will help you to recover your account, when your account gets hacked or you forgot your password
If someone accesses your account without your permission, you can also shut down the unauthorized login before resetting your password
