Facebook is continuously making changes and upgrading their website. Among all those cool upgrades on Facebook there is one side news ticker that constantly upgrades real time and shows you the latest upgrades and activities of your friends. Many users are annoying about the new Facebook’s news timeline ticker which appears on the upper right hand side of the homepage. Unfortunately, Facebook does not support the option for removing this new ticker from sidebar. If you are using Google chrome web browser then you can remove the news ticker feature by using the Facebook News Ticker Remover extension

1. Open your Google Chrome web browser
2. Just click on the New Tab and click on the Web Store
3. Then there you need to search Facebook Ticker
4. Click on the First search result Hide Facebook Sidebar Ticker
5. Next click on the Add to Chrome and install it
6. After installation finish you can check your Facebook. On your Facebook Page no more News Ticker

Currently, Only Chrome and Firefox users can disable the Facebook news ticker with the available Extensions or Scripts. If you are using Firefox web browser then you can use the http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/113583 user script
