The files which are dropped in Dropbox folder will be automatically synced hence it will be backed up on to user cloud storage space that user have. If user has removed any files from user Dropbox account, it can be recovered easily. Dropbox keeps a copy of every saved change or revision in the Dropbox folder for the last 30 days.

  1. Just go to Dropbox website
  2. Then sign in to your account
  3. Once you’ve signed in, just look for the Show Removed Files button in the Dropbox navigation tab. Just click on it
  4. This will bring up a list of the files which you’ve removed in the past 30 days. Dropbox actually keeps a snapshot of all of your files over the last 30 days
  5. Next, choose the files or folders you want to un-remove by checking the appropriate boxes
  6. Then click on the More button at the top of the interface
  7. From the drop down menu choose the option to un-remove those files and sync them back to your local Dropbox

If you’re looking to recover removed files older than 30 days or keep an infinite file history, you should really look into activated the Dropbox Pack-Rat feature
