Facebook is a most popular social networking website where people are connected with friends, family and also using for Business contacts. You can
access chat via the chat interface in the lower right corner. Once you are online, you can view which of your friends are online and they will be able to see you online as well. Recently Facebook enhanced its privacy control and added some new features to give full control over privacy. You can appear completely offline, appear online to some certain people or appear offline to some friends
- Sign in to your Facebook profile
- Then go to Chat Box at the lower right side of the page
- Next click on Friends list
- A small window will appear where you can create a new list
- Again click Chat on the bottom right and then Friends Lists to reach to the list you had just created
- Click on the edit link nearby to your newly created list
- A small window will pops up and showing all friends
- Choose the friends whom you want to appear offline or invisible
- Finally click on Save List
When you see your newly created list, just click on the small capsule like half green status icon nearby to the List name. The green color will change to Grey
